Secure Health Information Exchange

CRANBURY, NJ, July 21, 2010 -- BluePrint Healthcare IT www.blueprinthit.com announces two new programs that prepare Health Information Exchanges (HIE) and Hospital Systems for secure exchange of information. With the changes to the HIPAA regulations as a result of the HITECH Act, HIEs and users of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems are required to ensure privacy and security of patient information. HIE Secure and EMR Secure address privacy and security issues for protected health information (PHI).
