AccessConnect automates your access management workflow for network and application accounts by eliminating paper, email and manual processes for account activation, modification or termination. Requests are entered directly by authorized users (also known as "requestors") into their self-service web portal.

The request is then routed through workflow rules to the appropriate IT administrators, managers or directors (also known as "approvers"). Requests for more information or a final completion status are sent back to the Requestor in real-time and displayed in their queue.

Role-based user profiles automatically populate the appropriate applications and security roles for new account requests. Requestors can modify the default selections or add comments within the request.

Approvers see the request in their queue at the appropriate stage in the process based on workflow rules. They have the ability to request more information from the Requestor or deny a request. The Requestor can see the status of their request as it moves through the process and are sent a final notification once the request has been completed by all required Approvers.

All Access Connect users, whether requestors or approvers, can see their own dashboard within the portal which displays the real-time status of all their open requests and tasks. Approvers are sent email notifications for new and pending tasks. Escalations can also be configured for pending and overdue tasks..

A history report shows all completed requests along with a date and time stamp. A pending requests report shows all open requests. An applications report shows all completed requests for a particular application which clients find beneficial for software license management. An audit report shows detail information about the progression of completed requests from initiation to completion along with user and time stamp information.
